As an athlete, fitness has always been important to me, but after two devastating injuries incurred while playing baseball (torn ACL and torn Achilles tendon), I had given up on my body because I felt as though my body was giving up on me. My body became weaker and weaker and I gained more and more weight. My self-esteem dropped the heavier I became.
My wife found FXB and convinced me to join after her 10-weeks concluded. I really enjoyed getting back into the gym and working hard. I started to enjoy the friendly competition with my friends that I quickly made at Farrell's. Through the lower impact of the kickboxing workouts, I was able to do cardio again. The weight dropped off quickly and I regained my strength. I felt re-energized to regain a healthy lifestyle.
As an instructor, I love pushing others to reach levels they never thought were possible. I love motivating others and you will hear my energy levels rise as you continue to impress me with your work ethics on the mats. As co-head coach, I enjoy seeing the new 10-weekers come in, anticipating the transformation that is to come.
